Join us Sunday December 21st for a Lantern Procession to the Wishing Tree!
The Gnomes are gathering for Gnomecoming to Welcome Winter!
Join us on Winter Solstice this Sunday, December 21, for a lantern-lit procession to the Wishing Tree in Lithia Park. LadyJane Owl of TreeHouse Books, Cynthia Ravenwitch of SecretStoryWorld and Green Theater Collaboration will serve as our guides.
Beginning at 4:30, there will be a Wish Lantern crafting station on the Ashland Plaza along with Gnome Storytelling activities.
Be sure to sip your 1st Taste of Winter out of an acorn cup. All season long, you'll have good luck.
We'll be visiting the Wilderness Gnome Township to spot signs of Gnome habitats.
The Procession will begin sometime around 5:30pm.
LadyJane Owl will invite families with young children to get a head start on the procession at Dusk.
This is a free, family-friendly event, appropriate for all ages. Dress warmly for the weather!
WhiteRabbit Creator Clubhouse will host an indoor activity in case of heavy rain.
