FaeryGodmother's Midsummer Tea Party
You are cordially Invited to attend a Summer Tea Party with the FaeryGodmothers!
Owl and Raven of TreeHouse Books and ArtNow’s Secret StoryWorld invite you, the Magical Creatures and Faery Children of Ashlandia, to a Midsummer Tea Party hosted by the FaeryGodmothers in Lithia Park on Saturday, June 19th from 4pm to 5:30pm.
You can celebrate the Summer Season’s arrival and help to bring Enchantment, Joy and Wonder to our community (while practicing social distancing and safe practices). If you plan on attending, we ask everyone to be mindful and keep your families in little pods. You can remind your children that faeries need space around them for their wings to flutter!
There is plenty of room to spread out in the grassy area above the lower duck pond or nearby, and each family can bring a picnic blanket, their own tea set, and some treats to eat. The FaeryGodmothers will have organic FlowerFaery Tea to fill your teapots.
You can prepare yourself by gathering your finest Faery frocks to wear to the Midsummer Tea Party. Woodland and Magical creatures are also welcome to attend. What about wearing a beautiful and enchanting mask to wear with your wings? There will be wands to decorate for all faeries that want to learn about wand wishcrafting!
When you arrive at the entrance to the park, magical helpers will be sharing a guide to the FaeryWorld of Lithia Park, along with the enchanted activities in the realm.
You will meet the Tea Faeries, gather their Tea flower herbs, search for tiny faerie realms, make a wand and join in a promenade around the duck pond. You may get to witness the Summer Queen Coronation!
At the end of our Tea Party, the young faeries will be activated into their chosen roles and become Real Faery Guardians of Summer.
This is a free family event. Donations will gladly be accepted for ArtNow, the nonprofit organization behind The Secret Storyworld, which is dedicated to a community-based storytelling game of art installations, events, and DIY creativity kits that bring our best stories to life.
