Wizard Walkabout 2026!

SAVE THE DATE! We’ll be celebrating all Wizards from literature throughout the ages with a Wizard Walkabout in downtown Ashland Oregon on Saturday August 1st, 2026.

Are you feeling like you could use a little magic in your life these days?  Let's celebrate together and have some magical fun in our own Wizarding World of Ashlandia Oregon! 

Dress in your best Kid-friendly Wizard or Magical-Creature finery! Pick up your Walkabout Map at TreeHouse Books at 11am and for the next 2.5 hours you can visit other Magical Shoppes (details TBA) to experience Wizard Tasks, Treats and Treasure! This is an Open-House-Style event for all ages from 11am to 1:30pm, and you can choose your path for the Walkabout.

BONUS Wizard Task & Treasure: At each shoppe there will be a clue for solving the Wizard's Codex. Gather these clues on your Walkabout and solve the puzzle. Return to TreeHouse Books to receive a special gift from LadyJaneOwl.

This is a free family event, co-sponsored by TreeHouse Books, The Paddington Family of Stores, and our participating Wizard shoppes.  We will list the shoppes here the week of the event.
